Please read the T’s & C’s as you are committing to hire the Horsebox. You will be paying 50% immediately as a deposit and not be eligible for a refund once agreeing to abide by these T’s & C’s.
The terms and conditions below apply to the hire of the Horsebox where it is driven by the hirer only.

Collection and return:
To avoid any doubt, the horsebox must be collected and returned to:

If you decide to leave your car on the main carpark, you do so at your own risk.
We take all responsible measures to adhere to the Data Protection Act 2018 but by agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are agreeing to us keeping and sharing your personal details with other companies for the purposes of insurance only.
Driver Requirements:

22-75 Years of age
-
Full UK Licence with a min of 2 years’ Experience
-
No More the 2 convictions with a maximum of 3 points per conviction (6 points in total)
-
Has not Obtained a B/SS/UT Conviction
-
Cannot have been involved in more than one fault or 2 none fault motor accidents/thefts/claims in the last 3 years.
72 Hours prior to collection
The following information must be sent to us at least 72 hours prior to the hire commencement.

Copy of the Photocard driver’s licence (address & ID must be up to date. Drivers who only have a paper licence will be accepted only if the licence was issued pre-31st March 2000)

Two Proofs of residential address from separate sources. Driver’s licence and Passport not included.

DVLA check code (https://www.viewdrivingrecord.service.gov.uk/driving-record/licence-number)

50% of the hire cost is due upon booking. No booking will be secured without this deposit. Your deposit is non-refundable or transferrable.

Remaining cost of hire must be settled 7 days before hire commences.

£200 Damage deposit will be required via bank transfer. We are unable to accept cash. This is a damage deposit and can only be accepted from the drivers’ bank account.
Proof of Residency & Identity:

You must provide a total of 2 proofs of address from the following:

Recent utility bill

Electricity or Gas
-
Water
-
Broadband or landline
-
Council Tax
-
TV licence
-
Bank statement or mortgage statement

Credit card bill
-
An annual council tax bill will be accepted but all other forms of residency must be recent/ within the last 90 days.

Terms and Conditions:

50% non-refundable/transferrable deposit is required upon booking. No booking is secure without.

Any payments are by bank transfer only
-
The remaining cost (50%) has to be transferred on or before the day of collection.

£200 refundable damage bond must be transferred before hire commences.
-
In order to receive your bond back, our horsebox must be returned, undamaged, clean and washed and have a full tank of fuel.

If the horsebox is returned in an un-satisfactory and unclean state, the hirer will be charged £25 as a cleaning charge. This will be deducted from the damage bond.

Full days hire is 8am – 6pm (times can be adjusted dependant upon other bookings)

Half day hire is 8am – 1pm & 2pm- 8pm(times can be adjusted dependant upon other bookings)

Any time non agreed over the above outlined times will be charged at an additional charge of £15 per hour

Additional hours can be negotiated - dependant upon other bookings.

If the box Is returned so late that it affects the next booking, you will be liable to pay the full cost of lost revenue.

Hirer must not have had their licence suspended for any reason within the last 3 years
-
The person named on the agreement will be liable to pay the insurance excess (£500 over 25yrs - £700 22-25yrs) in the event of damages or accident.

Loss of Keys/wrong fuel is not covered by insurance. Should this be an issue, the hirer will be liable for any costs incurred.

The horsebox must always be kept locked and secure when left unattended

It is the hirers responsibility to ensure they are adhering to all legal driving requirements.

The driver must ensure the weight restrictions are adhered to. The Horsebox must not be overloaded. Any fines, charges or lost revenue to Cloud Self-Drive is the driver’s liability.

All Animals/equines carried onboard our horsebox are transported at your own risk. We advise you carry your own insurance. We will not be held responsible or liable for any accident or incident whilst using our horsebox.

We advise that the back door as well as the grooms hatch are closed prior to loading to ensure animals don’t see an open door to exit or injure themselves on the jockey hatch

The hirer must return the horsebox in the same condition it was hired in. The hirer will be held liable for any damages (caused by persons or animals) or missing items upon its return. And repair work will be the hirers expense.

For Your safety, the vehicle is fitted with a tracker device.

We've added some little extras to the kitchen for your use while hiring. There is a list of contents in the cupboard, please ensure all items are returned clean. Any missing items will be deducted from the deposit.

The Gas bottle under the sink MUST be turned off when not in use.

The Water container under the sink will require filling prior to use. Please empty before travelling! We don't want ponies paddling!

Please ensure lights are turned off when not in use - we dont want you stranded with a flat battery!

Fire extinguisher and blanket are in the wardrobe. If missing, they will be deducted from the damage deposit.
